Project description

The Capital Green River is one of the most ambitious landscape and urban development projects in the heart of Egypt’s New Administrative Capital. Spanning over 3,000 feddans, the project envisions a continuous green spine that runs through the city, inspired by the concept of the Nile River as a lifeline of development and vitality.

Designed to serve as the ecological and recreational core of the new capital, the Green River combines expansive public parks, botanical gardens, cultural and civic plazas, promenades, and water features with an integrated network of pedestrian and mobility corridors. The development provides a dynamic and inclusive environment for relaxation, sports, cultural events, and sustainable urban living.

Our scope included masterplanning, defining the architectural character and design language, landscape architecture, and infrastructure coordination. The project is divided into three main zones—CP1, CP2, and CP3—each featuring distinct thematic identities while maintaining a unified design vision across the capital. The Capital Green River aims to enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors, reinforce environmental sustainability, and symbolize Egypt’s vision for future-oriented urbanism.
