The European University in Egypt (EUE) is one of the landmark educational projects in the New Administrative Capital, strategically located in the northern section of Residential District 3. The project spans 80 feddans and was awarded in 2018, with design and construction carried out to support the university’s first academic phase, which officially launched in 2021.
We approached the project with a commitment to delivering a future-oriented and modern university campus that reflects the institution’s identity while embracing sustainability and environmental design principles. The architectural language was shaped by international academic benchmarks and inspired by local cultural context to ensure both functional excellence and a distinctive visual character.
One of our primary goals was to meet international standards in academic facility design, supporting a high-quality educational environment that could host globally accredited programs. The project succeeded in enabling the university to offer over 13 academic programs in partnership with institutions such as the University of London and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), particularly in the fields of economics and international engineering.
Our scope of work encompassed master planning, urban and architectural design, interior and landscape design, civil and structural engineering, as well as full site supervision—ensuring continuity from concept to execution.
